Balanced

Example from literature:  Elizabeth Proctor--She was able to balance her family life with her involvement in the community.  She also put her marriage in perspective.  Some women would abandon their husbands if they cheated but she stayed by his side.  That's balance.

Example from life:  Barack Obama is balanced.  Each day he must tackle many different kinds of problems.  And yet, when we see him he is often smiling and jovial.  That's balance.

1 paragraph description of me:I am a father, a husband, a teacher, a coach, a son, a homeowner, a citizen.  To be these things I need to be balanced.  I need to keep my life in perspective and balance my time and my checkbook, too!

Inquirer
Reverend Hale—Hale is an inquirer because he is trying to ask questions about what happened in

President Obama—The President is an inquirer because he must ask a lot of questions before he makes his decisions.

I am an inquirer because I ask questions every day about how I can make my family better and how I can teach my students and own children.
